This blog is about my travels with my husband Nik. We both have a passion for travel and exploring new places and cultures! Nik plans the transportation and communication, I plan the destinations. Currently, I’m building my photography and web designing skills to put together this website to inspire you to get out and explore.

Our Travel Style

We go everywhere we can. To put it simply, we would be outside and in a different town every weekend if we could afford it. But you know life…We’re not travel for profit bloggers (although that would be awesome!). We’re normal people, with normal jobs, that have to save up for our trips, the difference with us is that we make our travel a priority so it always happens. This blog will include our day trips and our bigger, international trips.

Right now we are doing the classic travelling, big cities like London, Paris, Rome, and we make the most of every trip, packing in as MUCH as we can in the small amount of time we have.

Now, just because we do a lot doesn’t mean we rush. Our plans are flexible and we prefer to travel slowly and to take it all in. Our favorite journeys usually end up being road trips through our California home-state and finding nature or history everywhere we go. The more we learn, the more we realize we don’t know about the world.

You’d find us equally in fine museums, the local bar, and outdoors exploring a city or a park like the locals.

We are always up for an adventure, and are working our way up to more thrilling expeditions. We have been snowmobiling, whale watching, and hiked through a few parks. Our bucket list includes helicopter touring, repelling down caves, hot air balloon riding, and giant swings, to name a few!

Combined we have lived in California and New Jersey, USA, Edinburgh, Scotland and Bangalore, India. We like to think of ourselves as worldly and encourage everyone that if we can do it, so can you.

This site is for us and for you. This site is to create lasting memories to visit over and over again. But for you, we want to show off our destinations to encourage more people to get out and explore the BIG beautiful world we live in!

Traveling is not hard and to beginners can be overwhelming. I plan on posting many informational articles to help people on all walks of life find the destination and path right for them so they won’t have to miss out.
